Brayer Cards

I have been reading blogs of how to's to use a brayer. I have had a brayer for a couple of years now and never really used it. So I made two cards. The first one I brayered CTMH Sunny yellow all over the card. I punched a circle out of a post it. I used the circle as a mask and brayered CTMH Honey over the middle and top of card. Then I brayered CTMH Holiday red over the top of the card and brayered CTMH Sweet Leaf along the bottom of the card. I took the mask off and I stamped grass in Sweet Leaf.
The next card I stamped a circle in CTMH Sunny Yellow on white A2 card. Then I covered the sun with the mask I had created earlier. I brayered over the whole card with CTHM Crystal Blue. There was some of the previous colors on there and it made an almost impressionist look.  I then brayed CTHM Twilight, brayered CTMH Ocean forwards the bottom and CTMH Star Spangled Blue at the bottom. Then I stamped waves in Star Spangled Blue. Stamped clouds in versamark and then added white embossing powder and heat set. Clouds, Waves, and sentiment came from CTMH stamp set True Happiness.  I cut and colored fisherman on my imagine. Image is from the Circut Sampler Cart. Filled with Black. Cut it at 2.3. The Imagine cuts seem to not be true size compared to regular circut, so I just have to eye ball it.
Heres the inside of the card
Made the card thinking about my mom and dad enjoying their retirement out of their new boat.
Made this next card by stamping onto white paper and coloring fish with colored pencils. Then I cut it out. I stamped CTMH Background stamp in Twilight onto yellow cardstock. Then added scrap paper to right corner.

This is what the boys did while I was in my craftroom creating.

Kuma is on my side of the bed and guarding the remote.

I made this little treat box with my personal cricut awhile ago. It was cut at the biggest settling it would allow. I think it was off of the Wild Cards cart as a bonus. I added rose made from the CTMH Art Philisopy cart.
I stamped CTMH image and colored it in with coloring pencils.

\Stamped background in Sweet Leaf and then sentiment in purple.

stamped background stamp in ocean to make a card sometime later.

Another scrap ready to make something later!!!

Neighbor's Birthday

Corrine, (my neighbor)'s birthday, is today. I have been reading and looking at ads for the new Dunkin Hines Frosting creations.  I sent her the website that shows all the flavors and said "pick out the one you want to try"  She picked Mocha and let me just say it's the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate. The chocolate doesn't over power the coffee taste. It's perfect.  It really is.  So, I baked up some yellow cupcakes and crosted them.  I couldn't find my plain Jane white cupcake liners, so I used my sunflower ones. I put them on my celebrate pampered chef plate and I plan to take them over when she gets home in the next few mins. I wanted to use my Cupcake Wrappers cricut cartridge, but I couldn't find the size I should cut it for the imagine and it wouldn't cut on my cricut personal.  It would have been too much with the sunflower liners , they are too pretty anyway.  I was going to make a cupcake topper, but they looked so good after I frosted them using my pampered chef decorator gun that I'm happy with them.  They taste amazing.  J and I had to taste one so we each had half of one. I made Corrine a card too. Was a stampin up stamp set. I don't know the name, brought it at a yard sale. And I used some Happy birthday ribbon and scrap paper. I stamped the flowers in black on grayish cardstock and then colored with coloring pencils.

My first cricut project from years ago. I bring it out every spring. I happily hung it up today!  It's in my kitchen were the telephone jack it. Ugly telephone jack, but this signs is a pretty disguise!!!

lots of cards

It's been awhile since I posted and I have made plently of cards since then. Here they are:
Front and inside of Christmas card
Birthday cupcake card made for twin girl's 4th birthday. Used cricut and the Wild Cards Cartridge
From the previous card, I had used regular sheet paper and cut it on the cricut to make sure I had the right size for the cupcake frosting and liner layer. I colored these with coloring pencils.
My husband loved converse high tops, so I used the Rock Princess cartiage and my cricut to made this converse shoe card. Used fit to page feature to make front of card and then traced around on a solid color and made the back and then slightly longer on left side to make a hinge then folded the hinge and glued to the front. The coverse logo and the laces were made by making a copy of my husbands actual converse shoe and cutting out the details of the gommets, laces, and logo and gluing to the shoe.
Hubby modeling his birthday card, new hair cut, and new ghostbuster t-shirt. Now if only provo craft would make a ghostbuster cricut cartridge!!!

I made this card simply by using scrap paper and ribbon and some stampings that were cut out and colored

Baby food jars turned into mini snow globes.
I cut circles to cover up the gerber logo on the lid and added ribbon with hot glue. The inside was rings that came off cupcakes at our Christmas party. I hot glued to the inside and added fine glitter in different colors and some circle chunky confetti to the inside and just plain tap water.  They work great! Gave as gifts to my neighbor's kids at Christmas.
Used Inspired Heart cartridge and my cricut to make nativity scene.  I made several just using the fit to page feature on my imagine. Red top layer was printed and cut with the imagine and the base layer was cut using shadow feature cut on green paper.
