I just finished my 1st challenge for Facebook cricut group. I used leftover packaging as a shadow type box effect. I am loving the embellishments from skylark close to my heart kit. The background is an overlay cut out with the close to my heart artbooking cartridge. I was inspired by the idea book.

Birthday Bonzanza part 2

Birthday Bonzanza part 1

It was an exciting week last week!!!  One of my best friend's daughter had her first birthday. I had her this cute little owl birthday card that she enjoyed playign with. I used my Cricut Wild Card cartridge for the card and added the "Look whoo's" from the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge. I also used the Artbooking Cartridge to make the scrapbook pages for her mom to add the title and pictures.

This week I've been working on Mother's Day projects and getting food together for Sunday.

 This is the card front. I used Close to My Heart Cricut Artbooking to make the little heart banner. I used the follow your heart stamp set also by close to my heart for the hummingbirds and the butterflies.

This is the inside of the card I made for close family friend.

I decorated the back also.

I used my new stamp set that came with the CTMH artbooking set for the top inside of the card. I used a stamp from CTMH art philosophy cricut set and didn't ink the very middle. Then I wrote Beth in the middle. I used my new CTMH ink in slate for the hummingbirds and my old CTMH ink in hydran

Cousin Braden turned 16!

Braden is saving up for a 2005 Red Chevy truck. I found a picture of it and decorated a bank and added some money to help him save up. I also made him a card. The key was cut out after I traced my truck key. I added chrome polish and embossed the gm detail into it. At the bottom, I stamped 16 candles from the CTMH artiste stamp set. The top birthday banner is from that same stamp set. I used CTMH stamp pad in the color Ocean for all stamping. It is one of my favorites. On the inside of the card, I stamped the balloon from artiste stamp set. Since his party is fishing at the lake, I did some doodling to go with the day on the inside of the card.
