Heartfelt Thoughts CTMH card

I just love the new Heartfelt Stamp set by CTMH!

The sayings are perfect to tell someone you are thinking or praying for them in many different situations. I will be using it a lot to make praying for you cards from the church craft group I am in. Each Wednesday(soon to be Tuesday) night we gather together and working on crafts and we share those we know that need prayer and support in our lives. When our time is over, we gather and pray for those people and we sign a card to be given to them. Other ladies have crocheted shawls for women that are sick or having a surgery. I am going to start working on pray wreaths because they are faster than crocheting and I should be able to make several a week. We are finding more and more people in need of prayer. They have been crocheting plastic bags to make mats for the homeless. The mats help give a barrier for sleeping on the ground. I will make a post just about this process. Look for it soon.

Here is the card I made:

I used a CTMH white card base and added rose gold foil tape to the left side and a piece cut from a CTMH PML card that I had trimmed to fit another project. I don't remember the other project, I am sorry. I think this PML card is retired now. I am starting to use my PML cards rather than hoard them because they have great designs and I don't have to cut up a whole 12 x 12 piece of paper to make one card. I stamped the background in CTMH sweet leaf ink . Then I stamped the wreath stamp in the new CTMH pigment ink Willow. It is a pretty green color! Then I poured gold embossing powder on top and heat set. You can see a little bit of that green and I stamped thinking of you in CTMH sapphire ink.  I ran the new CTMH Shimmer Brush over the thinking of you while it was still wet and it created this fun watercolor effect. Shimmer was put all over white circle and I filled in a few of the leaves of the wreath with green wink of stella pen. The black circle was popped up with foam tape to give dimension. The inside reads: Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of need.
